I'm Matt Cornell

Web Developer | Teacher | UI / UX Designer | Computer Scientist | Programmer

Hello, My Name is Matt.

Matthew Cornell, from Southend on Sea, Essex. Highly motivated, constantly expanding skillsets in both design and development.

I previously worked as a Teacher, teaching Computer Science to students of all ages and backgrounds.

A major part of teaching Computer Science is programming, and whilst teaching I developed a deep understanding of programming.

Ever since, my passion has been Python. Out of all the programming languages I have learned, Python is the only one that I have become completely engrossed in. I think of complex algorithms to assemble in Python for a challenge.

From the first moment that I discussed in length the complexities of another person’s code, I have been completely enamoured with Python, and I want nothing more than to work with it.

I have discovered just how much hard work it is to be a teacher, and one of the best pieces of advice I have received is
‘Find the right work / life balance’.
So to honour those words there are:
